Mision, aims and priorities
Mission
Close oriented to companies and enterprises, the vocation of the Bulgarian-German Vocational Training Centre – Pazardjik is to form new vocational skills and qualifications for adults in order to create qualified, high employable work force that meets the requirements of the economic situation and of the employers to its best and is successful at the Bulgarian and European labour market.
Aims
The main aim of the Bulgarian-German Vocational Training Centre – Pazardjik is to contribute to the recognition of a market-oriented and oriented to companies and enterprises vocational training system.
- In the period 2009-2010 BGCPO – Pazardjik aims to contribute to enhancing the employment and to assuring stability in the workplaces, mainly through training of employed and unemployed people and through assisting founders of a new business and SMEs; and in the same way BGCPO – Pazardjik aims to reserve and strengthen its positions of an important element of the national system for vocational training of adults.
- Further aim of BGCPO – Pazardjik is to give more adults the opportunity to participate in training courses and events for raising and updating their skills and competencies.
Priorities
- Up-to-date, adult-oriented vocational training for unemployed and employed people in the spirit of the “Lifelong Learning” concept.
- Providing access to high quality vocational training for disadvantaged people.
- Development and introduction of innovations in the sphere of vocational training according to the needs of the labour market.
- Active involvement of companies and collaborating with enterprises in researching the requirements to the staff in order to develop and offer updated curricula and practice orientated training; consulting of SMEs.
- Managing an effective collaboration with institutions for continuing vocational training.
- Implementation of good practices in the sphere of vocational training for adults in the fields: IT, business management and foreign languages;
- Integration and implementation of international training and certification systems in the fields of economics and IT.
